SMSF bare trust setup

As part of setting up an SMSF loan, a Bare Trust is required under the Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangement (LRBA). To make this process easier, we’ve partnered with Zettle to help brokers and customers complete the necessary Bare Trust setup.

Options to setup bare trust with Zettle

Option 1:
Complete and submit the digital form below. Then download the Zettle Client Engagement Form, sign it, and email it along with a copy of the SMSF deeds to baretrust@zettle.com.au.

Option 2:
Download the SMSF Bare Trust Instruction Request and the Zettle Client Engagement Form. Complete the SMSF Bare Trust Instruction Request and sign the Zettle Client Engagement Form. Then email both documents with a copy of the SMSF deeds to baretrust@zettle.com.au.

Zettle requests the following information in order to act for your self-managed superannuation fund (“SMSF”) in establishing a bare trust needed in connection with your proposed limited recourse borrowing arrangement with Pepper Money Ltd.

  • Please provide a first and second preference, as ASIC will refuse to register a new company if its name is the same or too similar to an existing registered company.
